I haven't done a video in awhile and I wanted to give you a quick reference for tonight's homework We have been going over multiplication/division unit for about 2 months now. This is a huge part of third grade and will only be built on throughout their schooling. This is one of those topics that they really need to have a good understanding on because the grades above 3rd start day one with adding onto what they were "supposed to know" from third grade. There is not a lot of time for reteach. This is why I have added 'Practice Multiplication Facts' to their nightly homework.
We have about 1-2 weeks left of this unit before we close it out and move on to another.
The kids have been learning tons of strategies for solving multiplication and division problems. The one this blog and video will focus on is Partial Products. I chose to do a quick video about this strategy because I personally do not remember learning this in grade school so I just wanted to give you guys a heads up.

Allergies have destroyed my voice and I apologize for the terrible angle. This also had to be filmed quickly because I do not have that much storage on my phone and the video will cut off if I run out. Thanks for understanding. :)
